I belong to a bloodline from apart of time

being chained and enslaved was the life.

Momma raised a smart guy so when cops try to get a rise i recite my rights and stay polite

it's sad but im used to a social confusion

land of the weary wounded

infuse this with tattered ends of movements we're doomed to believe have been fruitless

I wouldnt want MLK to see us today
